All-Girl Band

You know, it’s funny, ever since I was what? Like 8 I’ve been trying to start a band. I’d draw up plans, make lists (so many lists haha), and get myself all excited. Even if I’d sparked some glimpse of enthusiasm in my friends (who were just there for the Baby-bells and Doritos anyway), the idea never.. flourished—just another one of those bucket list items burdened by logistics and finding peeps that shared the vision.

But it kinda actually happened. That bucket list item….probably deserves a check mark.

You ever get those weird moments where reality catches up to you and you look around wondering “wait…how’d I get here again?”. I totally had one of those standing on a stage, laughing with a bunch of gals painted like skeletons a week before halloween. Wild that to get here I had to move hundreds of miles from where I grew up, go to a few schools I’d never even heard of and meet epic people I never would’ve had the privilege of meeting if all the Dominos hadn’t toppled like they did…

And bro, I’m so lucky that I get to work with them every week :)
